Living Well Trust hosts Tasty Tuesday, a free weekly community lunch in Thames that helps bring people together over a warm meal and connection. This Tuesday, RRT stepped in to run the lunch, serving burgers and cake for those who came along.

RRT also donated Care Kits along with warm blankets, beanies and socks for Living Well Trust to distribute as needed through the colder winter months. Glad to support a space that continues to care for people experiencing homelessness or hardship in the local community.

On Saturday, Adaptive Resilience Solutions and Mōhua 2042 came together to help Golden Bay communities prepare and build resilience for local challenges. RRT was glad to support the Mōhua Golden Bay Resilience Expo, bagging and giving away 1,030 sandbags to residents ahead of winter weather events, while also serving a sausage sizzle to raise funds for the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter.

Thanks to the organisers for helping the community prepare for the season ahead. Adaptive Resilience Solutions Mohua 2042 #rrtcares #EmergencyPreparedness #CommunityResilience

Yesterday marked the final day of the Motueka Valley search. Sadly, Police confirmed a body had been located, believed to be the missing man.
RRT served 40 burgers and hot drinks for Police and Land Search & Rescue volunteers on the ground, supporting teams as the operation came to a close. Our thoughts are with the man’s family and all those involved in the search.
